I am told everyday "If I could still get 100% financing at a good interest rate I would buy a home".

You can!! Contrary to what you may have heard, these loans are still available. And at good rates. As of Thursday September 3, 2009 the locked rates were as listed: FHA 4.875% and USDA 5.0%. Please feel free to call for full disclosure information as these numbers indicate rate only.
